Social booth first event registration#
Nonprofit organizations & event sponsorships: Contact Melissa Jagodinsky, Community Development & Special Events Director, at 92 or Media inquiries: Contact Eric Sponholtz, Executive Director, at 92 or Registration is required, and will close once 50 nonprofits have signed up. Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the event space. We will have masks available for those who need them. Following CDC guidelines, masks will now be required. Booths will be spread out in the event space to allow for extra distancing. You are welcome to leave after the first event and return to the convention center by 3 pm for the second event. Plan to be set-up and ready to go by 8:30 am on September 23. Staggered set-up begins on Wed., September 22 at 4 pm - Once setup is complete, no one will have access to the space until we arrive the morning of the event. Provide adequate staffing to interact with attendees from 9-11:30 am and 3:30-6 pm - We encourage participants to have their booth covered by at least two people (at one time).
Optional: Coordinate an interactive experience or volunteer activity confirmed with the Volunteer Center by September 17. Make sure your Get Connected agency is updated prior to the event. A link to this initiative will be shared with attendees. New or existing volunteer needs should be added to the "Volunteer Expo" needs initiative. Have at least one volunteer need posted on Get Connected, which requires an agency. Some access to electricity will be available. Volunteer activity must be confirmed with the center by September 17. Several large booths are available. Reserve a regular booth with one 8' table OR choose a large booth with three 8' tables setup in the shape of a U - The large booths are available on a first come, first served basis for organizations who choose to bring hands-on volunteer projects or activities. Opportunity to distribute promotional materials and other giveaways at the event.

Opportunity to provide hands-on volunteer projects and mission-driven activities (i.e., card making, meal bag decorating, kit building, etc.) - These can either be done on-site or be taken home by attendees to complete.
